Why choose us?

Qualified, experienced and ethical

Our team of experts are either registered Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourists (CCABs), or are registered with the ABTC and have gained the required academic qualifications and are working towards independent CCAB accreditation.  All our behaviourists only work on vet referral and are bound by a strict Code of Conduct, advocating for reward and evidence-based techniques.

Friendly, non-judgemental and realistic support

We offer a supportive approach to our clients, providing tailored behaviour modification plans that are realistic and achievable to follow.

Support for a range of species

We have a range of clinicians and trainers across the UK who are qualified to provide support for various animal species, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and parrots. We work virtually, out and about and in your home. Our team of experts work together and collaborate on cases, sharing expertise and resources to better help your animals.

Services

What We Do

We work as a cooperative, providing support for owners and veterinary professionals, particularly where animals are experiencing behaviour concerns, such as:

  • aggression,
  • fears,
  • over-excitability,
  • inappropriate elimination,
  • separation-related problems,
  • compulsive behaviour disorders,
  • destructive behaviour,
  • and training issues.

Behaviour consultations

We take a thorough behaviour history and make an assessment about the underlying causes and emotions for various animal behaviour problems, whether virtually, in your home, or in the clinic environment.

Animal training classes

We provide support with training concerns in one-to-one and group class settings, such as target training, stationing, pulling on the lead, recall, puppy training, teaching calm behaviour, and much more.

Behaviour Triage

Need urgent help?  Over the phone or via online video link we can provide remote risk assessments and short-term management strategies until one of our behaviourists can see you in-person for a full assessment.

Vet behaviour line

Vet staff can talk through tricky case issues with our behaviourists.  We are limited in what we can assess remotely, but the general advice provided can still be very helpful for the animals under your care.

Expert witness & foster assessments

We work with local authorities, adoption agencies and other organisations to provide expert assessments. We can also provide therapy animal assessments and guidelines for working with animals in various settings

Lunch & Learns

Vet practices – why not meet up with your local behaviourist?  Many of our team are happy to provide free CPD opportunities and other resources for your patients.
